'''Bashirul Haq''' (born 24 June 1942, Bhatshala, Brahmanbaria , Bangladesh) is a Bangladeshi architect , planner and educator. He is undoubtedly one of the most critically acclaimed contemporary architect of South Asia, known for his ideological environment- responsive architectural style. Bashirul Haq was born to a respectable family in Brahmanbaria. His father was the Deputy Collector of Sylhet district. For the reason, Haq spent a large span of childhood there. He completed his Bachelor of Architecture from National College of Arts , Lahore, Pakistan in 1964. He received ''′John Heimrich Tuition, Scholarship′'' and Teaching Assistantship at University of New Mexico , US in 1971 and completed his Master of Architecture from the university in 1975. Guthia mosque is a famous mosque in Barisal. It is also on of the most beautiful mosque in Bangladesh. It's designs are taken from Europe, Asia, and Middle East's most famous mosque.
